The lush plants that cover their shells convert sunlight into nutrients, so they don't even need to eat on sunny days.

Mudflat Form
Heaps of sand remain on the ground when they tunnel, and it's annoying that someone else keeps stealing their pebbles.

Beach Form
The fruit on Shrubclaw's back fall into the sand when they are ripe and grow into food and shelter for Budclaws.

Bay Form
Evolved from bay-dwelling Budclaw, it maintains its sunbathing habit, though excessive sun exposure has caused the plants on its head to become somewhat Water-deprived and discolored.
